The Heat "Harry Pottered" the Wizards

After losing to Cleveland on the front end of a back to back road game, the Heat regain their winning ways. Beating the aggressive Washington Wizards wasn't piece of red velvet cake. In a game with 48 fouls called, 30 were by the Wizards. Of course the biggest foul was called after the altercation between Big Z and John Wall's little self, that cost the Heat two ejections. Juwan Howard was also ejected along with Big Z, but I.d like to point out that Howard is a crafty veteran. He handled the situation correctly, he defended his teammates and let them know he has their back. Miami went on to win handedly for their 52nd win of the season.

This maybe a prelude of whats to come for the Heat in the playoffs. Many teams will either be forced to play aggressive defense against the Heat. Having two of the best rim attackers already give Miami an edge at the free throw line against most teams. Since the Heat have a reputation for being soft, I can see physical teams trying to get an edge by hacking and getting under the Heats skin. Add in troubles finishing games and a weak bench and you can see where I am going. Miami's biggest lose this season was losing Udonis Haslem to injury. He was the presence, the doer, the enforcer, and the heart and soul of this team. If UD can get back to contribute, he can just what Miami needs.

Nothing but Net!
